In this video I talk about VorpX which recently became HTC VIve compatible. It essentially layers itself between your HMD and the game and strikes a balance somewhere in between 3D and True VR application quality. In doing so expands your library of possibilities but requires quite a bit of tweaking and even after only makes it about halfway to true VR.
