Havendock (Demo) EP2: Our First Settler Friend

So much talking right from the beginning again! There's always a lot of things to discover in a new game, and it's only fair that we give them fair coverage and exposure. As mentioned the drifting wood, stranded amidst water, really reminds me of Raft, sans the motion sickness.

It's both going to be repetitive and also tedious for driftwood gathering since we'd have to always be on the lookout for it. Natural for survival, but tedious for a game. (No worries, there're ways to get wood easily)

I also noticed that the music changes in the research menu. Kinda interesting design choice.

22:46 we encountered our first glitch/bug. A graphical glitch of the settler who first looked like a bottle, and then a slice of raw meat.

23:10 the text, notations and tooltips we've seen thus far seem to hint the direction of the game taking a more jovial path, with the popup for PTSD phrased in such a way it seemed to be an attempt at lightening the mood associated with a rather serious and severe affliction.

It's kinda strange how settlers sleep on rocks instead of in the house.

At 28:00 if we pay close attention, it's easy to notice the sleep bar for Alf stayed at 25 even though recovery was 1/s. At that point, the sleeping rock was already bugged, I just hadn't noticed yet.
