Having Issues With with Meta Link Since A Recent Update? This Solved it For me!
18For nearly a month now, after a recent update to the Meta Quest, I've been having persistent issues with my ability to link my Quest 3 to the PC to play games in VR. I've tried a number of things, such as air link, changing cables, with no success as yet.
Naturally, I assumed it was a problem with the headset or the cable, but then I heard that OTHER people are having the same issue.
I thought of an alternative option to try, that I hadn't considered before and thought I'd give it a try.
I've tested it out using UEVR in an online game (Aliens Fireteam Elite)to see how it performed as a whole and this video shows the results.
Smooth stutter free gameplay, no laggy gameplay, hitching or rendering issues and a perfectly smooth gameplay experience in an online game. Success!!!
A number of people have complained about this video as they seem to think, I'm promising a fix to their problems, when that is not the case. As said in the title, it worked for me but no guarantees it will for anyone else.
