ON CHRIS PAUL:
“Just watching film and knowing that he is trying to get the foul on the wing, I was trying to show my hands and not let up on the pressure. It is hard with a guy like that who knows the game and knows how to get late fouls.”
ON EXECUTING THE OFFENSE LATE IN THE FOURTH QUARTER:
“At the end of the day it is still the same game, the pressure wasn’t really killing us, it was trying to get into the flow that we were in. We got out of the flow for a good two minutes and we were just trying to get back into the flow and execute our plays was the biggest thing. We took a step back when trying to execute as much as we did in the first half and going into the third quarter.”
ON THE OFFENSE IN THE LAST THREE MINUTES:
“That is something we are going to look back on, just the last three minutes we had in our hands. Just knowing as a guard to try to get good plays, good shots. Some of the shots came on too fast.”
ON THE OFFENSE IN THE FIRST THREE QUARTERS:
“When we execute our plays from preseason, we know that we will get what we want from the get-go. We know how to execute and play with each other more than we did in the preseason to know who starts and who is the last person on the court. Paint touches are the biggest thing, knowing that everyone has to collapse on in the paint and that’s when I try to get open threes.”
