MPEG-4 Version (for MPEG-2 version, go here: http://youtu.be/QgPvSYTBOhU)

Upload Video Size - 53 MB
Upload Time (near 5 minute video) - 7 minutes

I got myself a sweet (used) HD PVR from Amazon. Without going too far into the newer models, the first one (which also works perfectly with Nintendo consoles despite the description of the product saying nothing about them) is just very good. Good bye, Dazzle DVC 100. You served me well.

Key Notes:
- If you want to compare quality between this and the Dazzle DVC 100, use this video and put it next to this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIoF1n06iB8

IMPORTANT:

- This was all done using an Acer Aspire 7741Z-5731 Laptop (without any internal changes).
- In case you want specifications, this recorded and subsequently edited video through Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate is what you get in MPEG-4 file format.
- MPEG-4 is a smaller memory size but with less quality. An MPEG-2 video nearly retains the quality (in this case 480i for the Wii) from an unedited video and is surprisingly smaller in size than a plain Dazzle recording that this 5-minute video took only seven minutes to upload. For quality but a little longer upload time, go with MPEG-2. For faster upload at the cost of quality, go with MPEG-4.
- If you don't do editing altogether, the quality is going to be the best (assuming you have Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate) but the file will be set in MP4/MPEG-4 by default. However, in my case, I'd rather edit to cut portions and add a few things.
- If you try playing an MPEG-2 video on your normal Windows Media Player, only the video will play but not the audio. It's actually okay for upload in Youtube.
- More technical stuff:

Recorded With: HD PVR 1212
Xbox 360 setting for MP4 file
YpPrB Connection
Maximum Bit Rate (it really doesn't add a lot of memory size)
16:9 settings for both options
Everything else is untouched

Edited With: Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate
Stretched Screen
MPEG-4 format
Custom Preset
1) Video Settings
Full size (a little mistake I did as the resolution should be 480 instead of 400, but doesn't change the overall quality)
Frame Rate 29.97 (cannot be increased or decreased)
Data Rate - 8000 (I get the feeling that even lower doesn't affect the quality, though)
2) Audio Settings
Stereo - 48 kHz
Data Rate - 192

Watch, enjoy, and comment, everyone.
