He took the game too seriously - The KOF 97 incident | Drzuul
Today I bring you a tale form the waning days of arcade fighting games. We all love to game but sometimes those emotions can get the better of us and turn into rage but one gamer takes things too far and it leads to dire consequences.

This is what Orochi does to people. This has been an idea I've had for awhile and I'm really happy with how the video turned out. I'd like to think that this incident was an outlier but the way I hear old heads talk about arcades fights used to happen often. People still get mad but things are mostly kept civil in person and all of the toxicity has moved to being online with people saying the most heinous stuff. I think a big reason for this is because a lot of people who have low self esteem and or tie their success to winning are attracted to fighters and there couldn't be a worse genre because in fighting games guarantees one person looses and one wins. It's a lot easier to swallow an L when it's a battle royal and there is 99 other players. If you lose in fighting games you don't suck just focus on improving and the things you did right and you'll have a lot of fun! And if you do get salty just walk away, some days you just have off days. Anyway advice over. Next video games is a spooky episode of Weird Fighting games, please look forward to it. Anyway Anyway thanks for Reading I truly apricate it!!!
