Heading Into Akihabara
7Today's FTJ episode details the trek into Akihabara on August 7, 2019. That Godzilla pop-up shop really was a neat find. Though, a fair amount of what it was selling could be found at other shops we went to throughout the trip. In fact, the Don Quijote we went to had some of it. Finding that Sega-themed taiyaki stand was a nice surprise. I knew about one in Ikebukuro, but not that there was one in Akiba, too.
Also, when in Akiba, you should definitely check out Aoshima Shokudo. It's some of the best ramen I've had. Make sure to get it with extra chashu. You can find them at:
