Randomness From Odaiba & Otona no Jump Bar
3Today's FTJ episode is a bit of a short one, comprised of what I was able to shoot on August 12, 2019.
Instead of heading over to Tokyo Big Sight for Comic Market with my buddy Chris, I opted to walk around Diver City. Probably not the best idea with how bad my knee was after the previous day's hike. Seriously, for a mall, Diver City has very few places to sit down. After around 10:30AM, you can barely find a seat in the food court. It was still fun to see the area again, though.

Later in the evening, we met up with the friend we were staying. He was able to get a reservation at Otona no Jump Bar, which opened a few weeks before we arrived. Not sure how he managed that, since it was booked up from the moment it opened. Theme bars seem to be this way, especially if it's for something well-loved like Shonen Jump. The place has a really fun vibe to it and all the themed food and drink gets announced by the waiters when served. Even if you are a few tables over, you can't help but get excited.

It's on Central Road (or Godzilla Road), right in the heart of Kabukicho. Since it's a theme bar, there's no telling when it will close, so it may not be there at this time next year. And I would recommend a reservation through their website (https://otonano-jumpsakaba.com/).
