Five years late but the record still needs to be set straight. Healing isn't necessarily a scummy move if it happens in the wild. There are ways to combat and even counter it as this video will cover. If you still wish to have PvP with no heals, I'd recommend searching for or creating a fight club amongst acquaintances and congregating in a chalice dungeon of your choosing.

While I can't say definitely that this "healing" same mentality has complete crossover with other Soulsborne titles, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Keep yourself prepared for anything and keep aware of what you can do in response. Finally, keep it clean, friends.
