Heart attack heroes and perverted rogues (Darkest Dungeon gameplay)
1,656This game has quite a unique approach to dungeoneering, with emphasis on the grim "reality" that a group of mercenaries would have to face in dark, hopeless places full of deadly monstrosities.
Despite the fantasy setting with magic and lovecraftian creatures it has a sort of gritty realism. Party members need to relax and unwind to deal with the stress of the previous nightmarish quest, they can get diseases and develop mental disorders. Although they can also die of a heart attack if an abusive party member scoffs at their missed attack one too many times... which is a little odd, to say the least.
