Buildorders are absolutely crucial for anyone that wants to improve in StarCraft II. I can not stress enough how important clean and clear execution will help you in the long run. It's not as easy as you think it is. Unless your mind is clear, and you execute the build order without any problems whatsoever, and you do not need to think about it at all anymore, then you know how to play it.
