In part 1 of Ike's gameplay on Heart of the Woods, we start a new journey about the paranormal and maybe even a talking cat?! It is also the last investigation between our two girls.

So here's my first impression:

I thought the production quality of this visual novel is top notch. There's a lot of passion and love poured into this project and it's very noticeable. I love the aesthetic and I love the UI.

My gripe with this game has to be the lenghty sentences and the overdescription. Sometimes, you just gotta be straightforward for some unimportant scene. It doesn't happen here, though.

(By the way, I looked at the summary on the steam page again and realize how lengthy it is.)

The other problem I got with the writing is the style. It's written like the narrator is talking. It might sound weird, but when you're talking, there are a lot of grammical error you can make without it sounding too ridiculous. When it gets written down, it's a different story. You can see that it's wrong, even if you say it out loud.

Hope that makes sense.

Still looking forward to the romance lol.
