Heart&Slash - Indie Game Spotlight [Alpha]
38Heart&Slash is a cute little Indie Roguelike-like Brawler that I was lucky enough to get my hands on the alpha. The game features a wide array of awesomely wacky weapons and gears and a very simple but useful level up system. The worlds are randomly generated and pit you off again randomly generated enemies and loot as well. Overall for a Alpha Heart&Slash shows a lot of potential if you are a fan of games like Tower of Guns definitely give this one a check out.

The Premise:
Heart&Slash is set in the distant future. Humans are long gone and all that remains are machines, working through the motions programmed by their masters many ages ago. The sole priority of the machines is to ensure everything complies with the obscure standardisation protocol, under the supervision of the all-seeing robot leader, Quality Assurance System (QuAsSy).
Malfunctioning robot and protagonist, Heart, embarks on a quest to find its identity and, ultimately, love. But not all robots are the same. Maybe as a result of faulty wiring, there are some willing to stand up for themselves, to resist conformity and find their identity.
