Tanking in Mortain offers new challenges for tankers with update 15 released. This match was my first real experience playing Mortain in armor. After the second objective was captured, our armor squads regrouped and rearmed for a big push on their 4th objective. We had 3 Panthers and 1 Panzer IV in the tank column, relying on intel from the commander and other officers, it ended in success. We got lucky that the enemy didn't catch on that an Armored column was coming. Mortain is "ambush ally" in my opinion, and any AT squad or enemy tank with good intel would have wiped us clean. That's the fun part for me being involved in these columns, is never knowing what the outcome will be because 90% of the time it's a bad strategy and makes the playthrough more challenging and interesting. Makes the game so much more enjoyable to play for me.
