HellBreach Vegas, GTX 1660 Super & i7 5960X first look/testing and gameplay
2This is the demo of the game Hellbreach Vegas.
I never heard of this game before tonight when I decided to try the demo.
I am playing this on my main PC, which other than the GPU, is about 9 years old at this time.
The hardware specs are
Intel i7 5960X at stock speeds
GTX 1660 Super at stock speeds, from Gigabyte
64GB of DDR4 RAM, in quad channel, at 2667Mhz speed.
NVMe SSD at about 3.5GB/s read/write speeds from ADATA.
To sum it up, the game is fun, the gun handing and gun sounds are good and everything about the game is good apart from 3.5 problems I have with.
1. The lack of option to lower the voice of the announcer or even mute him.
2. The lack of footsteps sounds for the enemies.
3. The map design which not only is made up of small "rooms", but also filled with obstacles which take away from the fun of the game, for me.
3.5 When you buy ammo you don't automatically have a gun full of ammo, so you have to hit reload, which takes extra time and you "lose" purchased ammo instead of having full ammo and loaded weapon. But this is obviously very subjective and not a huge deal.
