All current opinions are correct as of build 0.2.1. I recognise that they may or may not be fixed in a later build, but for now:

HELLION is terribly optimised on lower-end systems. I found this just about sitting right on the threshold of playability. I like the concept of a multiplayer space survival game, but HELLION needs a vastly better or dedicated tutorial in order to make the experience not as cumbersome.

Zero-gravity floating and flying is interesting, but keep in mind that it is INCREDIBLY fiddly and hard to get right. Flying towards other objects in space was an exercise in frustration - I almost wanted to give up, but that wouldn't be a fair appraisal.

The glossary could have been a whole lot clearer. I can interact with stuff to pick them up, but this led to problems near the end when I completely strip a power supply of its components and had 0 idea how to put any of them back; and the glossary didn't help, either.

Windowed mode is not flawless, but still mostly serviceable. Until the inevitable happens and I clicked on the X button in the top right to close the game. Hide the cursor, dammit.
