Hello Neighbor & Hello Neighbor 2 Alpha Review | There Goes The Neighborhood
Hello Neighbor is a fun little stealth horror game pulling from games like Alien: Isolation, with great ideas, but falls a bit short on execution due to some usability issues and bizarre puzzle logic.
That said, it's worth checking out if you can find it on sale for some fun.
Hello Neighbor launched in 2017 from Russian studio Dynamic Pixels to positive, if mixed reviews. Its stealth approach of us avoiding the neighbor is akin to avoiding the Alien in Alien: Isolation, with adapting AI to boot (although in Hello Neighbor, the AI is nowhere near as sophisticated as the the alien).
With the alpha for Hello Neighbor 2 out, and Hello Neighbor 2 dropping in 2021, let's take a look at the game.
This Hello Neighbor review/analysis/critique/retrospective looks at what makes Hello Neighbor a fun, if frustrating title.
