šØ Hello Neighbor is a horror game with escape room elements... or at least thatās what it was supposed to beā¦ in the end, it turned out to be a flop that didnāt really satisfy anyone.
Thatās why I decided to recreate the game I loved watching on Markiplierās channel. I based it on my expectations and the early versions of the game, which seemed promising.
I spent a lot of time making sure the neighborās AI worked well, so he has a routine, can hear you, remembers where you were before, sees you through windows, and even throws objects.
Since Minecraftās AI is very limited, I created an entirely new system from scratch using commandsāitās not just some dumb zombie AI.
Additionally, the whole map is a faithful recreation of the game it was inspired by, which is what Iām known forābut this time without the bugs from the original game :)
