We're playing a Boy and his Blob, the new version that was released on the Wii in 2009 and recently for PC/Mac in 2016. The original game was released in 1989 for the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) and called A boy and his Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia.

You play a little boy that finds a small blob that came down with a comet, if you feed him different jellybeans he's able to transform into many things. From a ladder to a pothole to a balloon and more.

It's a fun playformer that's definitive worth checking out.
