Today in XCOM 2 we finally take on our first Alien Facility mission with days to spare on the Avatar Countdown clock. I hope the Elders aren't too disappointed. So close to a breakthrough, and then this. The mission is simple enough. Waltz in, plant some charges, and get the hell out. We also take our Psi Operative, who's been sitting in a room for awhile doing who knows what, out into the fray. That and our backup Sniper, who does her best to show her stuff. Will she earn a gold star?

But performance issues (remember, this was recorded pre-patch) are the beginning of my issues. You'll see what I mean as you watch this nearly hour long episode. Yes, as the missions get tougher, the episodes get longer. They won't always be like this, but there's a lot to see today.

XCOM 2 is the long awaited sequel of 2k games' hit revival of the XCOM series.
