Here is why YOUR HERO is missing out on tons of experience (Maplestory M / 楓之谷 M - 英雄)
8Hero is great at mobbing with it's World Reaver (v2) skill -- a full map attack every 20 seconds at max level. Yet many Heroes are missing out on tons of experience because they do not utilize their Burning Soul Blade (v1) skill.
The Burning Soul Blade has two modes: it can either follow you or remain stationary. Typically we keep it following us because it deals more damage, especially for bosses that require your character to move around. But using this mode while we are auto-battling will cause it to be useless as monsters die from your character's attacks before the skill can attack. By using the stationary mode, your character will drop the Burning Soul Blade whenever it is off cooldown to help you attack nearby monsters. This yields an additional 20-30% mobs killed depending on your party composition.
