After the last cutscene, Dan got his Ultra Eye stolen. Since he can't turn into Ultraseven now, he turns into Windom. Windom is weaker all around than Ultraseven, but it does have some very cheap TP costs that are actually even cheaper than the 15 TP Special that Hongo has. Because of that Dan can keep up consistent damage despite the stat decrease. Relive Ray unfortunately cost more TP to use now, however. At least he still has it at all. Windom's unique ability is Play Dead, which has it do nothing, but it won't be targeted by the next attack.

After we finish the remainder of the dungeon, Hongo will leave our party and we'll get Kamille. For like, 5 minutes. I'm not even going to go over how he plays because I never got a good grasp on it through the 5-ish random encounters we fought before he left the party. We also get to see the "KAMILLE IS A MAN'S NAME, AND I'M A MAN" scene with him and Jerid once we reach the new town.

Later we'll get Hayata to join our party.

Hayata - Hayata is an Ultraman. Or more specifically THE Ultraman. I'm wholly unfamiliar with the Ultraman franchise to know if he's supposed to be the awesome cool original MC or not. But anyways, all Ultraman party members in this game have Relive Ray, so we get a second healer. Hayata has higher damage than Dan does however, so he'll be able to hit the enemies harder. In fact most, if not all, of his stats are higher than Dan's. His unique ability is Teleport, which has a chance to eject a non-boss enemy from the battle. I dunno if you still get EXP if that happens though.

40:43 - Dungeon

This dungeon gave me some trouble as it started to introduce some harder enemy types. Most notable are the Bulltons, who are immune to physical attacks. This means Amuro has to use Aim to hurt them, Kotaro can't do a damn thing, and the two Ultras will have to use their Specials to fight them. I took a lot of damage in my first run in with them and had to go back, heal, restock, come back, and then usually just ran form their encounters cuz it's not at all worth the fight.

If you flee from a battle in this game, it decreases the party's Will. Will appears to only affect how quickly someone can recover from a status ailment naturally. But since you have items to do that, there's not really a reason to worry about that.

58:27 - Boss Battle #9: Alien Zarab

We actually fight 4 Elekings before this boss, but those aren't bosses. They're normal enemies that we'll encounter shortly after this battle, so I don't count them. Still, you can make use of AoE attacks to take them out quickly before they deal too much damage. Then we'll fight the actual boss right after, with no chance to heal. Alien Zarab just has normal attacks, but can also inflict Confusion. That's probably the worst status ailment as it can cause the victim to attack its fellow party members. Zarab also has a ton of HP, so the fight took a while.
