Heroes 3 AI Battle: CONFLUX vs COVE (Horn of the Abyss mod)
We're going full HotA in this one - Conflux, nerfed by their lessened Phoenix growth, face off against the Cove town, the mod's main addition. Each has a month's worth of unit growth and must win a best of 5 varied rounds.
Morale very deliberately left switched on. Missing out on morale with 5/7 creatures is one of Conflux's main weaknesses (or strengths, sometimes).
Remember this is just for fun - please don't take it too seriously! RNG is still a thing and I'm prioritising entertaining clashes over perfectly even playing fields.

On fairness:
- All level one heroes have had all secondary skills removed.
- Some hero classes naturally start off with spell books, which can obviously be an advantage. There's no perfect way to handle that, especially as removing their ability to cast spells would be an indirect nerf to creatures like arch magi and wraiths.
- For the final round, the heroes are level 20 and have the following secondary skills (all expert level): Wisdom, Fire Magic, Air Magic, Earth Magic, Water Magic, Archery, Offence, Armorer. Their primary skills are distributed organically by the game based on hero class.
- They also have access to the following spells: Air Shield, Animate Dead, Anti-Magic, Armageddon, Berserk, Bless, Blind, Chain Lightning, Clone, Cure, Curse, Death Ripple, Destroy Undead, Disrupting Ray, Fire Wall, Haste, Implosion, Lightning Bolt, Meteor Shower, Prayer, Precision, Resurrection, Sacrifice, Shield, Slow, Stone Skin, Teleport. This is intended to minimise their use of 'dud' spells.
- Ultimately, a close contest is more entertaining than a clean sweep and the battles are set up with that in mind.
