The popularity of Elder Scrolls and Fallout games, as measured by peak concurrent Steam players each day. I kept original Skyrim (Legendary Edition) and Skyrim: Special Edition separate on purpose to make for a more interesting contest. Of course, most of these games will have had many additional players on consoles or on other platforms, so take the numbers with a pinch of salt.

The info might not be completely perfect, for example around DLC release dates, but I did my best. Numbers displayed will sometimes freeze in place pre-2015 - this is because for some less played games, player count was only captured once every week or two at that time.

Finally, bear in mind the numbers are a snapshot of player count at the peak time that particular day. That means there were even more players online at other times on any given day.
