Welcome! In this first episode, we play through Fighting Force, which is a side-scrolling beat-em-up game where you control Mace, Hawk, Smasher, or Alana as they attempt to stop the evil Zeng from taking over the world. Each character has unique abilities and special moves, such as Mace's powerful throw and Hawk's aerial spinning attack. The game features a variety of environments to battle through, from the city streets to a mysterious chemical lab filled with goons. Fighting your way to Zeng, the surrounding environment allows players to pick up weapons and objects to use against both enemies and bosses alike. Developed by Eidos, the creators of the original Tomb Raider series, Fighting Force was initially planned as the next installment in the Streets of Rage franchise and was released on the PlayStation, Nintendo 64, as well as PC.
