I had a number of issues encoding this file over the weekend, so I wasn't able to update the movie with many of our experiences on matchmaking. Here's a few things I would have said but either couldn't get in or couldn't find a place to put it.

-Why am I using more Heroes of Newerth footage?
Because it has a replay system.

-This movie seems weighted towards Heroes of Newerth over League of Legends. Is this just a HoN advertisement?
It probably seems weighted towards the game you're not playing. Heroes of Newerth has a horrid community for a new player, and that really is it's main weakness. Don't underestimate what I'm saying there -- I have a whole section of the movie dedicated to it.

Heroes of Newerth is a more fleshed out game technically. When I say that in the movie, it's not biased subjective opinion, it's a fact. The suite of features available to Heroes of Newerth players is measurably larger.

Keep in mind that having more features or more polished features does not make for a better game. I don't mean to come across that way.

-Is League of Legends a Pay-2-Win game?
Nope. Everything that affects the in-game experience can be purchased with in-game currency, and there are several of amazing champions that are extremely cheap. You'll be able to stay competitive without spending real money, you'll just be limited in what choices are available to do this.

-Am I a pro player?
Not at all. In Heroes of Newerth I'm a low 1700s normal mode player (about half a year ago). I don't have ELO in League of Legends as we're newer to the game and the people I play with aren't all 30.

That said, before you say "You don't play ranked games in LOL you don't know what you're talking about," I'm not an idiot and you're not that dense. I research what I play constantly. I've played hundreds of LoL games.

-The Champions you showed in LoL aren't tanky dps, etc.?
Yep, I was using Riot's sorting filters, so I could only generally relate them.

-Which is more fast-paced?
Heroes of Newerth is generally more fast-paced in battle, requiring faster reactions. There are more auto-attack heroes in Heroes of Newerth, so this doesn't always make that big of a difference, but HoN definitely emphasizes this more.

-What about crowd controls like stuns?
Heroes of Newerth has stronger crowd controls, but items are more versatile in allowing you to avoid/ignore them. Yes, Banshee's Veil and Mercury Treads in LoL do this, but HoN has more options.

-What about League of Legend's activated items?
I made a brief mention of HoN's on-activate items, but it's important to note that League of Legends has a number of very powerful items that can be activated. Among the more common are Zhonya's Ring, Youmuu's Ghostblade, and Randuin's Omen.

-What about Tablet of Command?
Great item I forgot to mention when I brought up Ghost Marchers and Portal Key. Tablet of Command is incredible.

-What about Regen rune?
HoN has a regeneration rune!

-HoN Matchmaking has been out! Why didn't you cover it more?
I'll cover it in a separate movie. It's fantastic. Some issues w/ the way coins are awarded, but the overall experience was really incredible. I didn't have an opportunity to cover it here.

-You said Support normally purchase and place wards in HoN?
Good teams will have someone with an escape place the ward, though support will tend to still be the ones purchasing them.

-What's up w/ your sound?
This was actually an early render of the movie before I could fine tune any of it. Unfortunately, Premiere Pro crashed in all of my follow-up attempts to render it, which means some clips aren't as related as they should be and the sound files are from the original recording. I hope this isn't an issue again, but I still haven't learned the cause.

-Why'd you just show a replay when covering the community?
Because pictures of forums and trollface aren't as exciting.

-Why didn't you recommend a game?
It's a multiplayer-only game. If you've got friends playing League of Legends and you want to enjoy the DOTA/MOBA experience more, you're going to need to play League of Legends. Same is true with HoN, though your friends are more likely to loathe you there if you're not good.

That's the pitfall and the strength of multiplayer-only games. Farmville and World of Warcraft, for instance, are not significant games for their innovation and awesomeness, they're significant because they give you a social framework and make you feel good for being in it and bad for leaving.

(Before you read that as a dig at LoL, understand that LoL innovated more from DOTA than HoN; it's not a dig at either game)
