In this demo and interview, Thomas Häger of Heron Consulting talks about the Heron add-in for PowerPoint. This was planned to be a quick demo, but Thomas had so much to share that it spanned a much longer time.
Here is a link to the Heron Consulting site where you can download the add-in, which is free as of now:

Also, here's a partial transcript:

Geetesh: So, hi Thomas. How are you doing today?

Thomas: Hi Geetesh. I'm good, thank you. How are you?

Geetesh: I'm doing very well, thank you. So can you tell us something more about your company, Heron Consulting?

Thomas: Yeah. Let me start with a little bit of a background. My background is in operational excellence and supply chain excellence, both from, let's say, a management consulting background and also from a corporate type of background. And last year I opened the doors to my own consulting company, where we focus on those specific areas for operational excellence and supply chain excellence and the everyday kind of improvements to operations. So we deliver management consulting services to help organizations improve their supply chain and operations and be more efficient basically on everyday in the everyday work they do.

Geetesh: I'm guessing you create a lot of PowerPoint presentations for that, all the stuff. And maybe some of that led you to create the Heron add-in for PowerPoint. So can you tell us more?

Thomas: Exactly right, Geetesh. Management consulting has a good amount of PowerPoint creation and development in it, no doubt about that. So for consultants, PowerPoint is not just a tool for creating presentations. It's also a tool that is used for documentation purposes as well. But as you know, PowerPoint is not really a tool that is built with the intention of being used for documentation. It's not Word. It's pretty far away from Word when it comes to documentation capabilities. So our add-in is really there to break some of those shortcomings of PowerPoint when it comes to documentation and when it comes to other things, that is typically what we do on a daily basis in management consulting. So we will see some of those features, but it's really there to improve the everyday efficiency when working with PowerPoint. And our starting point in that is, let's say the everyday work for management consultants. But I'm sure that anyone using PowerPoint on a daily basis too.
