So, first of all, how this skip works is that the loading zone to the next chapter is active once you kill the first armoured enemy. However, a few seconds after the textbox disappear, the game will teleport you away from the hole so that the duo will do a high five before regaining control.
If you managed to enter the load during the grace period, you skip the animations, saving a few seconds.
This is why I (tried to) manipulate where the enemy, so that I kill him closer to the hole to make it work. I haven't tested it fully, but this is the strat I came up with on the fly. It's not perfect, just need to tweak it a little. But it's suffice.

Oh, and if you're wondering why I'm playing the Japanese version:
I just downloaded it without knowing the version, Hell, I didn't even know this version exists at all.
