We're back with more Star Ocean 3, this time with an arrangement that's actually shorter than the original track! Highbrow is sort of the king of prog tracks in video game soundtrack proper to me featuring sprawling form and lots of odd meters, great riffs and melodies, and its blend of rock band and orchestral instrumentation along with the weird sudden jazz section in the middle. It's a little intimidating to take on arranging and attempting to do justice to a lot of these grander pieces, but there is a bit of a special occasion for this arrangement.

This is the debut arrangement for a new project that I'm a part of called Composite, a prog rock VGM trio with me on keys, Roland Laracuente ‪@nirst1059‬ on bass, and Andrew Gossett ‪@TheBassoonist7513‬ on drums. We're planning to do more arrangements in the style of this video's cover, with other Motoi Sakuraba and other games to come in the future. The goal is also to perform these arrangements live at events, so for this recording we tracked our parts all the way through and tried for minimal editing. In addition, I usually do all the arrangement for this channel but this transcription and arrangement was a collaboration from the three of us.
