The feedback and reception for the Path of Exile 2 Early Access is currently in flux. Lots of players love the new direction of the game. Many of them do not. Veteran enjoyers of PoE1 in particular are taking to the proverbial streets for GGG's preferential treatment of the new game. There's a disturbing degree of compare & contrast going on between the two games, with very little focus on feedback (positive or negative) about PoE2's new systems, independent of their heavy biases towards the other game. In fact, some players aren't even really playing PoE2 when they play it. They're still playing PoE1.

I would like for the community to remember the ARPG mantra "It's all about the journey." Recognize the vision for THIS game does not run at all parallel with that of PoE1. It's a clean slate, a harder and more grueling game, more demanding of players' time and attention. That is what it's designed to be at its core. I for one savor the challenge. And I hope my feedback for this game is with a clear head and independent of my experiences with its predecessor.
