Terraform Deploy AWS Infrastructure Challenge

Description

In this lab challenge, you will put your infrastructure development skills to the test. You will be tasked with developing an infrastructure solution using Terraform by modifying an existing Terraform configuration to include deploying a subnet and EC2 resource.

Lab Objectives

You must modify an existing Terraform configuration to deploy a subnet within the Web VPC and provision an EC2 instance inside the subnet. Only t2.micro instances and volumes up to 10GBs are allowed in this lab challenge.

Create a subnet resource in Web VPC

Create an EC2 instance into the newly created subnet within Web VPC



The EC2 instance must utilize the following values to deploy successfully:

AMI: ami-0528a5175983e7f28

Instance Type: t2.micro

Root Block Device - Volume Size: 10



Use terraform plan and apply to deploy the new resources to the AWS account provided

You should be familiar with:

Completion of the Create AWS Resources with Terraform and Manage AWS Resources with Terraform labs is highly recommended before attempting the challenge
