With Keiichi and Rena both coming to agree that Mion is the one person who's been behind the recent strings of murders and disappearances, they both decide to go to her home and confront her about it directly, hoping to convince her to turn herself in. When they arrive they are invited by Mion herself into her property, and once Keiichi and Rena make their intentions clear Mion begins to convey a long, dark, and sad series of tales that relate to Hinamizawa's not-too-distant history, particularly during the days of World War II. There's a lot of information to digest, but Neo, Keiichi and Rena patiently listen to everything Mion has to say in hopes of understanding how all these tales helped to motivate Mion's actions over the past several days...
