The Garmin Instinct 2hiking settings let you control many aspects of your hike including the data screens, alerts, GPS settings, laps, auto pause, and colors. Follow the steps below to open the Garmin Instinct 2 Hike Settings:
1. Short press the start or stop button on the Garmin Instinct 2.
2. Select the activity you would like to change. In this tutorial, I chose hike.
3. In the activity, Hold down the Up button and select Hike Settings.
4. You are now in the Hike Activity Settings.
