9We've got another Pieman 1-Minute Review for you guys, this time it's the new Ron Howard movie Hillbilly Elegy, starring Amy Adams, Glenn Close, Gabriel Basso, Freida Pinto and Haley Bennett as the friends and family of JD Vance, whose memoir this is based on. You can try but you probably won't find much love for this in your heart, because it is an elitist Hollywood version of this tale, making the story seem glorious when in fact it was the kind of hard work that many in lower-class households put in, the original memoir was meant to be one tale among thousands but is here glorified into something unique, the completely wrong idea.
