Hiro does a Fire Red Nuzlocke! Part 15
1I have decided to do a Nuzlocke and the rules I have decided to go for are as follows:
-Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released or put in the Pokémon Storage System permanently
-The player may only catch the first wild Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else.
-The player must nickname all of their Pokémon, for the sake of forming stronger emotional bonds.
-The player may only use Pokémon they have captured themselves, meaning Pokémon acquired through trading, Mystery Gifts, etc., are prohibited.
Additional rules I put for myself are:
-Species/Dupes Clause: The "first wild Pokémon in each area" rule does not apply in an area until a species or evolution line is encountered that has not been caught yet
-The player may not use items in battle. Pokémon may hold items, but no items from the bag (except for Balls) may be used.
-The player may not level any of their Pokémon past the level of the next “boss trainer’s” highest leveled Pokémon. eg Gym trainers.
