Communism, in its broadest sense, is a political and socioeconomic ideology that proposes collective ownership of the means of production and the abolition of social classes. Its ultimate goal is to establish a stateless society, in which wealth is shared and each individual's labor contributes to the collective well-being. However, historical experience shows that, when it becomes a government project, this ideal transforms into a system that, in the name of equality, ends up costing the lives of millions of people. In practice, communism has only established repressive regimes.
