0Hive Jump 2: Survivors is a super cool top down, rouge-like, action RPG, bullet heaven in development. The game is challenging; its objective requires navigating through the hive to locate and eradicate nests. However, accomplishing this task is easier said than done. I've encountered elite nests on several occasions that swiftly led to my demise. Fortunately, an arsenal of weapons and various items are at my disposal to aid in your mission. The graphics at play in this game are top-tier, with beautifully crafted pixels and visual effects that make every moment a feast for the eyes. That said, the art style showcases a sizable array of arachnids, with their colors adapting according to the map. The destruction of the bugs and your character is visceral, adding an extra level of weight to the gameplay. Of course, as can be expected of a game in this genre, the screen can often times become quite chaotic during gameplay, which adds to the intensity of the experience. Hive Jump 2: Survivors progression system is highly engaging and very satisfying. It offers a multitude of ways to enhance the character's abilities, each one feeling substantial and rewarding. The upgrades are noticeable in-run, adding layers of depth to the gameplay loop. Unlocking Jumpers through upgrades provides a sense of achievement, and the weapon upgrades obtained during runs keep gameplay dynamic and exciting, while creating a meta for good builds during runs. The game balances these upgrades with fair Amber costs, making each permanent upgrade feel earned and valuable. Overall, the progression system is a significant strength of the game, offering a great sense of accomplishment when goals are achieved. I very much enjoyed the game so far, and I am very excited to see where the developers take it from here. Hope you enjoy my video.
