0We Who Are About To Die is a super fun gladiator rogue-like with the best parts of a roguelike, combined with compelling aesthetics in development. It took me about an hour to really grasp the game's physics and mechanics, but once I did, I couldn't stop playing! The management side makes you think carefully and allows for complete random chaos which I love. We Who Are About To Die is a ridiculously good game. It's incredibly addictive, super replayable, and with a combat system, you always feel like you're still learning. The combat is brutal and death is permanent. However, as you gain fame and fortune, benefits are collected for future characters. I am pleasantly surprised that despite a few deaths I am still enjoying the game and slaying my enemies. Yes, it hurts when you already have good progress and overestimate your abilities and/or gear and fall victim to another gladiator. But When you learn the mechanics, the new game will be smoother. The developer has made an amazing game and constantly updates. I absolutely cannot wait to see what this game turns into. I don't see myself putting this game down anytime soon. Highly recommend.
