One of the most seriously injured soldiers of the Afghanistan conflict has inspired an entire community to build a holiday lodge for wounded troops.
Jack Otter is one of only about 20 triple amputees to survive his injuries. His mother wanted to take him to the seaside where they had enjoyed many family holidays but she could not find suitable accommodation. Now - after an appeal to the people of Swanage in Dorset - a campaign has raised a quarter of a million pounds to build a holiday home.
