Here's your walkthrough on all the basics of the Homestead Update in The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. This update has been out on PC for a while and is now available for consoles (XBox One and PS4)! Have questions on how to buy your first house? I'll show you how to begin the quest "A Friend In Need" which will take you to Canthion the Landlord in Vulkhel Guard and begin your quest to get a house of your very own! We'll talk to Szugogroth to get info on where to find the shady Bulag Idolus. We'll confront this lady orc and get the deed for Canthion.
After the quest is complete I show you all the basics of getting your first house up and running in TESO. You'll need to know how to craft or purchase furniture for your home before Canthion will let you in. I'll show you where to go to find a pattern and craft your own furniture. I'll show you how to search the guild traders for furnishings to buy. I'll also take you to visit a home goods merchant.
Once you have some furniture to bring along, you can finally move into your starter home! I also walk you through the process of placing furniture in your house, changing permissions for visitors, and some of the limits of the smaller home. Eventually you'll be ready to purchase a larger home in Tamriel and get more items with which to furnish them!

The Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing video game developed by ZeniMax Online Studios. It was originally released on April 4, 2014, for Microsoft Windows and OS X. It is a part of The Elder Scrolls fantasy franchise, of which it is the first open-ended multiplayer installment.
On January 21, 2015, it was announced that an active subscription would not be needed to play the game from March 17, 2015, onwards. The game was then renamed as The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One console versions were released on June 9, 2015.
As with other games in The Elder Scrolls franchise, the game is set in the continent of Tamriel and features a storyline indirectly connected with the other games. The Elder Scrolls Online had been in development for seven years before its release in 2014. It initially received mixed reviews, but these improved significantly with the re-release and rebranding as The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, with the majority of reviews praising the new changes.
