A lapel mic can help you speak more clearly on calls when talking on the phone or when recording your self with your phone, this is a mic quality test of the Homics Lapel Microphone which works pretty well except the clip is a bit stiff. It even has a ring adapter that lets you use it with PC or a mic only 3.5mm input, but by default the 3.5mm works with mobile phones and tablets.
