Game Description
Hook is a side-scrolling, weapon based beat'em up, based on the movie with the same title. There are four playable characters Peter Pan or one from the Lost Boys: Ace, Pockets, Thudbutt or Rufio, fighting against Captain Hook and his pirates.

Character description
Peter Pan - Portrayed by then 40 year old Robin Williams, Peter left neverland because he wanted to grow up was to be a father. He married Wendy's granddaughter, Moira, and they have two children, Maggie and Jack. He has forgotten his childhood in Neverland, and becomes a successful corporate lawyer with a wife and two kids. Captain Hook kidnaps his two children, thus Peter Banning must reclaim his youthful spirit as Peter Pan in order to challenge Hook.

Rufio - The leader of the Lost Boys in the 1991 film Hook, played by Dante Basco. He is an original character in this film, commonly remembered for his big, spiked, red-striped hair. His arrogance overcomes him as he taunts Hook and is outmaneuvered and stabbed. Fatally wounded, he tells a saddened Peter "I wish I had a dad... like you." before dying in his arms.

Ace - One of the Lost Boys in the 1991 film Hook, played by Jasen Fisher. He is an original character in this film. He is present at many points, including Peter Pan's return to Neverland, the Lost Boys' training sessions with Peter to get him to remember his past as Peter Pan, the imaginary dinner where Peter learns how to use his imagination.

Pockets - One of the Lost Boys in the 1991 film Hook, played by Isaiah Robinson. He is an original character in this film. He is the first of the Lost Boys to recognize Peter Banning as their former leader, Peter Pan, and insists to Rufio that Peter be given a chance to prove that he truly is their former leader.

Thudbutt - An large African-American boy, is one of the Lost Boys in the 1991 film Hook, played by Raushan Hammond, he is an original character in this film. He gives Peter the marbles that once belonged to Tootles and tells him that his happy thought is his mother. When Rufio died and Peter returning to London with his children, Peter appoints Thud Butt - as the biggest of the remaining boys - their new leader.

Smee - In J. V. Hart's Capt. Hook: The Adventures of a Notorious Youth, "Smee" is said to be short for the name "Bartholomew Quigley Smeethington". played by Bob Hoskins is more concerned with himself than his loyalty to Captain Hook, and can be seen trying to escape the ship with assorted treasure. He is also apparently popular with some of the adult women in Neverland.

Hook - Captain James Hook is played by Dustin Hoffman. Hook kidnaps the children of a now adult Peter to lure his arch-enemy back. He is somewhat depressed since Peter Pan, now named Peter Banning has left Neverland, and worries he has nothing left to accomplish, having killed the crocodile and made it into a foundation for a clock tower. He wants to have a grand war with Peter to end all wars on Neverland
