Sector Zero features cold inhospitable but at the same time rich and beautiful arctic environment. Whoever tries to escape it by fleeing towards the deeper waters witnesses the true horror. While Leviathan creatures of Sector Zero might not be as menacing as the ones in the Crater, they are faster and maneuverable, particularly the Chelicerates. They are at the same time the smallest type of leviathan creature on the entire planet. At the World Edge (more commonly known as the Void) dwells a radically larger variant of this predator - the Void Chelicerate. Even though being massive in size, they retain all the maneuverability and speed of their younger cousins. Battle scarred, fearless and infinitely more aggressive, they will swarm around and relentlessly attack anything entering the deep waters. Featuring no luminescence other than in their eyes, makes them all that much harder to spot, which combined with the deep dark waters, makes them a true menace to be avoided at all costs.
Despite the common misconception, as long as the waters are deep, the Void Chelicerates will not hesitate to chase their prey closer to the surface. Hanging off the cliffs close to the water surface to the far east of Sector Zero, the Horizon Observatory exploits this fact. This self-sustained massive platform features vehicle servicing docks, science facilities, tech workshops, leisure chambers, food and power production, as well as many indoor and outdoor platforms for creature observation.
The only catch however is getting to and away from this facility...
