By the time this quest unlocks (after Regalla's boss fight) a Dreadwing shouldn't be too tough of an encounter, even an Apex one. The also gives you some favorable terrain to work with, as Dreadwings struggle when you have something overhead.

If you've been watching my video series up to this point, you'll know I'm leaning heavily on a few things to drastically reduce the difficulty of Ultra Hard. First, Low Health Defense +4 is tremendous, as it essentially gives you an unlimited healing pool as long as you have a relatively defensive position where you won't be hit twice in a row in too short of a time frame. For offense, I'm relying on two Instant Brittle +2% Coils, both of which are purchased from Thornmarsh for way too cheap, in my opinion. This allows you to overcome the defensive of so many of this game's Apex creatures which are resistant to Ice.

And to make the most of my instant Brittle procs, I'm using the Cleaving Sharpshot Shot, Low Health Ranged +4, two Long Range +25% Coils, and Power Shots. All of this adds up to some pretty vulgar damage, especially if you can hit an enemy weak point while they're Brittle.
