After a beautiful cutscene that depicts a journey similar to that of The Lord of the Rings. Aloy is named and blessed by the All-Mother by an elder's permission, but another elder appears and disapproves that of what transpired and reveals a truth about Aloy that they are trying to keep secret. Skip six years into the future and Aloy finds herself in an Old World structure where she finds a strange device. After Roth rescues her he decides to teach her how to survive and hunt in a world ruled by machines. Right, when Roth and Aloy finished with her training they spot a young man from the village injured and surrounded by machines. Using the strange device Aloy is able to reach the young man and escort him to safety.
