Hornby R3057 | Class 92 | Stobart Rail | 92017 | DB Schenker | Electric Locomotive (OO Gauge) Review
Just like I promised in time for the remainder of the weekend. Here is my review of the Hornby R3057 Class 92 in the Stobart Rail (DB Schenker) livery numbered as 92017 that is named as "Bart the Engine" and I have to admit that this livery suits the Class 92 very well. The model is DCC ready and you will require an 8-pin decoder if you wish to equipe this model for use on a DCC layout. Performance is good as the model has a 5-pole bogie-mounted motor at the front and running is very smooth. The model also has woking headlights in direction of travel but no tail lighting unfortunately. However this is a mid-range model and it does have NEM couplers at both ends and bearing this in mind with the price of £65. It is a good value for money model and I would certainly recommend this model for any modern image model railway in OO gauge or for an Eddie Stobart fan alike.
