Some history about Hot Wheels:
Hot Wheels is a brand of die-cast toy cars introduced by American toy maker Mattel in 1968. It was the primary competitor of Matchbox until 1997 when Mattel bought Tyco Toys, former owner of Matchbox.
Hot Wheels turned into a racing video game developed by A. Eddy Goldfarb & Associates and published by Epyx for the Commodore 64. The game was unveiled in June 1984, at Chicago's Summer Consumer Electronics Show, and was released later that year. Hot Wheels is the first video game to be based on the Hot Wheels toyline, and was marketed by Epyx as part of their Computer Activity Toys series, consisting of video games based on popular toylines. After that many other Hot Wheels, games have been released.
The new Hot Wheels Unleashed game has been released on 30th September 2021 and is playable on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
