38This is The Simpit, I’m Shaun Cole but the real star of today’s show is Ricmotech, with this month’s Hotlap Humpday! As usual our drivers and even our commentary crew do not know the car and track combo in advance. Welcome to Hotlap Humpday.

EVENT SCHEDULE
5:45PM (EDT): (15 min.) Tech Setup to prepare for live broadcast beginning at 6:00pm. Hot Lap Qualifying starts at top of the hour
6:00PM (EDT): Hotlap Qualifying Begins - Laps must be clean or they will not record on the leaderboard
8:30PM (EDT): 2 X 15 minute race events with 5 minute warmup in between. Top 10 Reverse Grid 2nd event.
09:10PM (EDT): Race Ends
10:00PM (EDT): Session Ends
FINAL CHALLENGE EVENT RACE RULES
There will be two challenge races each 15 minutes in length, a 5 minute warmup followed by a second 15 minute "Final Challenge"
Top 16 Qualifiers make it to the first Challenge Race. Top 12 from Race 1 will advance to Race 2 for the "Final Challenge" race. Race 2 will have a top 10 reverse grid for the start.

Race Marshall (Kevin Ford) will Marshall the Event.
If a driver wrecks they must bring the car to pit road to reset, if they are forced to reset/tow to the pits they are disqualified.
If a driver makes aggressive car contact with another vehicle they are at risk of a drive through penalty, their black flag will be cleared when they exit the pits.
The winner will win the grand prize of a Ricmotech Racing Simulators T-Shirt or any other prize Frank decides to throw in at the last minute?.....
