What if I told you his name was originally supposed to be Bulkhead in TF4? Now I'm not saying this has been stated by any officials. But there are a lot of clues that lead to this being the case. 1 little clue would be this early concept art. The guy looks an awful lot like our big green Wrecker bot with attitude. And the rendevue canyons location the Autobots meet up looks like a reference to the Autobot base from TF Prime. Speaking of references did you know that TF Prime Hound is an Homage to TF Animated Hound? Not only that but according to the Japanese marketing director TF animated was supposed to originally take place in the Bay canon. Which I find funny because TF4 seems to take a lot of inspirations from that particular cartoon. Such as humans discovering Megatron's head and recreating him an entirely new body. So there's a good chance that Bay realized he was taking too many ideas from that iteration and decided to go with Galvatron as opposed to Megatron and nameslap Hound onto what obviously looked to be Bulkhead.
