This was supposed to be the run AGAIN!! If you've seen one of my previous videos, there's an unforgiving glitch where Hangedman doesn't give you your well deserved 1500 points. I really need to figure out the exact reason behind this, whether it be via trial and error or by reading the disassembled game code, because this is just unacceptable. I was so distraught that I even missed a gold frog in the bonus room for another 1000 pts missed bringing my score down from 108620 to my final score of 107620. You know that roar sound that plays when you insert a coin? Yeah, that's how I felt inside.

Score Breakdown:
Chapter 1: 22,180 A typical start, I seem to be averaging this score quite a bit now..
Chapter 2: 54,760 Only 20 points shy of my previous robbed 110k score game so I'm on good pace.
Chapter 3: 89,180 This is when I knew this was the game. I played Hermit a lot better than usual and was well rewarded with a 89k+. I typically average 21k+ in the final chapter so I just needed to do it without taking damage.
Final: 107,620 Furious that the scoring glitch happened AGAIN!! and missed a gold frog because I just felt like giving up. This would have normally counted as a 110,120 if the glitch did not occur beating my previous record of 110,080 just over 2 years ago.

Final thoughts: This was another 110k run and I'll count it as one again but I have a feeling that this machine doesn't like me. Worst of all, I recorded it the day the Remake trailer came out so I really wanted to feature this that day but I guess it wasn't meant to be. I really need to shoot for 90k after Hermit just to be safe just like the first time I reached 110k. We'll see what happens this week.
